Jane Doe Found: Mid-20’s female body in haystack, covered in manure. Head and hands cut off, male hands found next to body. Stripped to underwear; showing no signs of sexual intercourse prior to death. Dead for an estimated 96 hours according to liver temperature. No bone fragments or blood on crime scene; suggests death occurred somewhere else and body was moved.
Female and male hands were cut off partially by saw (post-mortem) and were then completely snapped off. Indicates that killer either got excited with the kill or had to finish hurriedly. Prints taken from male hands belong to one missing David Cole, plastic surgeon.
Inspection of David Cole’s house; blood splatter on wall indicates shot at point blank rage. Blood belongs to Jane Doe. Bullet matches gun of escaped serial killer Hascal Schwolow.
Sherlock, I need to know the whereabouts of David Cole. If you want any other details; ask.

SH *arrives at scene which is presumably near a farm unless there's a random haystack in the middle of London*
*gets really close to corpse and sniffs*Cow manure.*tilts head*Double lividity. Stored elsewhere for six to twelve hours before dumping.(text to Irene)Your missing man is dead. Obviously.
Need to know heights of Schwolow and Cole.

*'Your missing man is dead' plays through her mind as she sighs.*
(text to Sherlock)
What a shame. Find the body.
Schwolow: 5 feet, 11 inches.
Cole: 6 feet, 2 inches.

*stands in Cole residence, facing wall*
*muttering*Where's John when you need a victim? *bobs up and down slightly, down about an inch and a half, then up an inch and a half. Does this repeatedly. Gun-hand*
Text to Irene:Was Schwolow left or right-handed?

*rubs face*
((pssst? is the blood splatter at a large or small angle of spread, up or down?))

*examines blood spatter with more intensity*Spatter: large and angled downward. Killer significantly taller than victim. Conclusion: young woman murdered by Cole. Schwolow was accessory to murder.*looks through house*No sign of Cole being murdered here. Schwolow waited before killing him? But why..?Text to IreneAny sign of previous contact between Schwolow and Cole?

Mmm. I see where Sherlock's going with this.Post office confirms; anonymous letters sent to Cole's address.
Could be Schwolow. But why letters? I suppose emails, texts and phone calls could be traced, but why risk a trip to the post office?
Quickly checked Schwolow's visitor history on prison; one D. Cole visited at least 10 times, dating back three months.
Last visit at 11:19 on 30 September 2011, the day of Schwolow's escape. They definitely knew each other. Maybe Cole even aided in Schwolow's escape?

*dashes back to other scene, running up enormous cab bills as he goes from place to place on a whim*
*examines male hands*Signs of a struggle, offensive wounds corresponding to the bruises on the female torso; also defensive wounds--possibly fending off Schwolow's attack.*looks specifically at severed wrists*Severing wrists takes a certain lack of conscience--he was experienced. The killer--probably Schwolow--knew exactly where to cut to make it easy to remove the wrists, and that would fit with Schwolow's MO. Dirt in wound indicates hands were severed in suburban setting, within same neighborhood as Cole's own house.*takes out swab in vial of liquid, rubs it on fingers and smiles as the liquid changes color*Powder burns on hand from gunshot, likely the shot that killed the unidentified woman.Text to IreneI need bloodwork done on female victim. Suspect anesthesia in system.
SH Cole had access to any of a number of anesthetics. Possibly used them to kidnap a client-turned-victim with or in aid of Schwolow. But why would Schwolow leave the hands with the woman?Unless...

The victim was probably a patient of Cole, chosen because of certain vulnerabilities such as a lack of interpersonal connections.Text to Irene:Are any of Cole's patients on missing persons lists? If so, how many fit victim's profile?

Text to SherlockTwo of Cole's patients on missing persons list; Ashley Greyer, 23, Elementary School teacher missing for five days now.
Also one Emily le Grange, 25, unemployed amateur painter, missing for 10 days.
No connection between Emily and Ashley except for orphaned at an early age.
