*momentarily disoriented as he realizes the bed he's in isn't his own, but then he remembers*
*groan, yawn*
Drooling. Lovely.
*wipes his face*
*staggers into the kitchen and gets some cold water--Sherlock knows exactly where the glasses are kept*
*sits at the table, wondering if Mycroft had taken off for the day or if he was just sleeping in; also calculating the amount of water he'd need to drink to shut down his hangover*

Harriet takes a deep breath, standing outside the strange townhouse. Getting Mycroft's address out of Molly had been child's play, but now she had to convince a confirmed sociopath to let her stay at his house. And help her little... problem
Here it goes. The first step of the rest of my life.
She knocks, the rapping echoing in her head. Getting drunk with some complete strangers last night hadnt been her cleverest move. She'd burbled about Jim Moriarty all night, questioned her sexuality over three men and smelled a young woman's hair
Uh, Mr Holmes

*shouting*
Mycroft!
*winces at the volume of his own shout*
Door!
*Mycroft is a bit slow to answer, so Sherlock plods over*
*opens the door*
What do you want? What's so urgent that you couldn't phone me? My number's on my site.

Harriet pushes her way past Sherlock and into the house

Two words: Jim. Moriarty.

I can have you arrested for trespassing. This is not your house. This is not my house. I was invited as a guest. Get out.
*is extremely upset that someone would just barge into Mycroft's house without even a hint of permission--he's feeling a bit cross from the hangover and a bit overprotective of Mycroft as he was the only person to be of any help last night*
*grabs her by the arm, a bit more forcefully than is probably good, and maneuvers her back outside*
*hisses*
The only reason I haven't called the police yet is because you're John's sister. Remember that. You're welcome to call or to text. But don't encroach on my private life, and stay away from Mycroft.
*slams the door in her face and locks it*
*opens it back up after a few moments, though keeps the chain-lock over the door, ensuring she won't get back inside*
What about Moriarty?

walks away from the door and towards a window, taking a door-wedge she stole - borrowed - from Molly's and beginning to look for a weak spot in the frame
Did John ever tell you I was in prison? Breaking and entering. Now let me in. I'm rusty and I don't want to damage the window frame. I'm not talking about Moriarty out here.

He didn't tell me. I can tell by looking. And if you do break the window, I will phone Lestrade and I will have no mercy. I will be happy to testify against you.
*his voice is now more akin to a growl and he's staring her down through the window*
I'll hear you out about Moriarty on two conditions. One, that we go somewhere else, like Baker Street or the Criterion. You don't seem to be in any sort of immediate danger. Two, that you leave my brother alone.

Oh Sherlock I'm not interested in your brother. I'm not going to hurt anyone. I was acquitted of the assault, after all.
Puts the doorwedge back in her bag.
Fine. Baker Street it is. It'll do to be there for part two of our conversation. Let's walk. Do you want a smoke?
Offers a cigarette in a somewhat friendly manner

No, you're not interested in him, but you get his address and proceed to barge into his house without so much as a by-your-leave. In most civilized parts of the world, that falls under the category of illegal activity.
No wonder John doesn't get along with her.
*opens the door and goes out, having texted Mycroft to explain what's going on so he doesn't think his brother vanished*
I don't smoke.
Any more. Except on special occasions.
I'll see you back at Baker Street; I assume you know the address.
*hails a cab*

People do stupid things, Sherlock, for good reasons. Now, I was prepared to break into the house of a government official to wake up a hungover consultant detective. These are my only pair of shoes and you probably noticed that cigarette I offered was my last. Do I seem like the kind of girl who offers her last cigarette to anyone? No. So, answer me this Mr Holmes, do I seem like the kind of girl who needs your help?
She gives Sherlock a dark look and slides into the cab that has just pulled up, dragging Sherlock in with her
Right answer.

*stares at her, slightly speechless and very exasperated*She's either terrified of Moriarty, but that's not too likely as she's not showing much of a fear reaction, obsessed with me, or attention-seeking. I may have to file some sort of restraining order after I find out what she has to say...We're here.
